Notes from our team

Facilities
Facilities are solid for this price range: electricity, water, well-kept showers, a restaurant, a shop, and wifi at the cafe. Campfires and BBQ are allowed, but open fires directly on the ground are strictly prohibited with a 1,000 baht fine per spot, so check the designated areas first.
Value for money
Camping costs 100-200 baht per person, which is fair for what's bundled in: electricity, water, toilets, parking, and an on-site cafe. Note that day visitors who aren't staying overnight are charged 50 baht per person, so factor that in before inviting friends over.
Food & supplies
The on-site food is a mixed bag: the croissants are genuinely noteworthy, but some kitchen dishes have not always been fresh. If you're staying several days and care about food quality, supplementing with supplies from the on-site shop or bringing your own is a sensible plan.

Tranquil terraced cafe restaurant and campsite situated below Road 12 not far from Khau Khor. Drive down narrow windy road to parking and find lovely walkways and terraces and steps down to the river below. Absolutely lovely site which we appear to be sharing with no one! Enjoyed a beer without ice cubes and proper sized napkins and lovely lunch (just spicy enough) also Wifi! Open 9 to 5 I believe. I'm glad we stopped here!

Honest Review: This place is hidden off the main road to Khao Kho. We camped here for 5 days during the NYE and was very nice and peaceful. Showers were clean and atmosphere was good. The cafe was also very nicely done. Everything in all is good here. A must if in Khao Kho. Negative: far drive in the mountain to Khao Kho. The food wasn’t fresh and tasted a bit old.
