What makes it special

The Khwae Yai river is the backdrop of this camp, flowing past the lawn all year round — no worry about the river running dry, and swimming is possible in any season. In the afternoon the water is shallow enough to wade through comfortably, though the current runs fairly strong, so a life vest is recommended and children should be closely supervised. With the sound of flowing water and river views right from the lawn, afternoon into evening is when this place is at its best.

Atmosphere

The lawn stretches along the Khwae Yai river, with only 10 tents accepted per day, so every hour of the day stays unhurried. The grounds are arranged in 3 levels, offering both grassy and stone terraces to choose from. Despite sitting close to Kanchanaburi town and easy access via the M81 road, the camp keeps a quiet feel, with open views across the wide river all along the front — well suited to a private, laid-back stay.
