Atmosphere

The grounds are compact: two bungalows and tent platforms set right along a stream, so every spot sits close to the water and the trees. At night the crickets get loud — the site is surrounded by forested hills — though the rooms are well insulated enough that with the door closed you'll barely hear them and can sleep through. Overall it still feels like old-school Suan Phueng, largely untouched by development.

Getting there

The farm sits deep in the Suan Phueng hills, reached by a single access road. Signs with the farm's name appear regularly on both sides of the road the whole way in, and even once your GPS gets you to the area, following these signs is the easiest way in. It's a long way in, but the drive itself is enjoyable — mountains and rubber plantations alternate along both sides of the road.

Water & swimming

A free-flowing stream runs right past the accommodation — not stagnant water but a living current, and it's the heart of the property: the tent platforms and bungalows line its bank, and some rooms even have a tub fed by the stream for soaking. There's also a swimming pool and kayaks for rent, so you can either have a quiet soak or paddle along the bank.
