Rai Ya Yaem occupies a hillside location in Kanchanaburi province with views extending across Srinakarin Dam. The campsite offers three distinct camping zones consisting of one rocky area and two grassy sections. Campers may select their preferred spot on a first-come-first-serve basis without advance reservation, though cottage accommodations require prior booking. The site is accessible by sedan, motorcycle, and pickup truck, although the ground may become somewhat muddy during rainy periods. A stream and waterfall within the grounds provide opportunities for water activities, with the waterfall located in the shaded coconut grove area being particularly notable. The setting is suitable for families with children. Available facilities include restrooms, showers, parking, and a small shop. Electrical hookups are available at 50 baht per site if required. There is no water heating system on site. The entrance fee is 150 baht per person per night, and equipment rental is not available.

Beautiful view, can do camping here.
Stunning view but need to be careful about the road. Recommended.
Amazing camp site, clean, convenient, beautiful view and quiet. Thought it would be too hot for March but turned out the breeze from the reservoir was so nice and it’s completely okay!
Amazing view of the Srinagarindra dam😍😍🤩🤩 There was even a small waterfall beside, and the water was quite clear👍 We only went there to take pictures because the kitchen is only opened on saturday and sunday. But its free entrance👍 However the road up to this view point is under construction, very muddy, steep at certain points, slippery if rains, and quite narrow too. It was quite difficult for average cars to go up, so better come with vehicles suitable for off road driving.
I went there last October and it was closed due to unconnected bridge caused by the jungle water. So I went nearby for photos for a tiny view similar to this location. In the future I would definitely love to come back to visit Rai Ya Yam.
