Sam Lan Waterfall National Park

Saraburi
4.7(6 reviews)

Sam Lan Waterfall National Park is located in Saraburi province and provides a quiet environment for those seeking relaxation in nature. The camping area includes both waterside spots and flat ground sections. The riverside terrain slopes downward, which can make sleeping uncomfortable, so campers are advised to select level ground instead. Wind conditions are strong during morning and afternoon hours but subside by nighttime. Facilities at the park include clean toilets and shower rooms, electricity, water supply, parking, a shop, and Wi-Fi access. While hot water is not available in the bathrooms, a nearby market offers food and supplies for purchase, though visitors should plan to return before 7 PM. Park admission costs 20 baht per person and 30 baht per vehicle. The camping fee is 80 baht per person per night, and equipment rental is available.

Notes from our team

Who it suits
Well suited to families who want a relaxed lakeside pitch. The park has walking and cycling tracks for a morning outing, a short forest trail to the waterfall, and bicycles for rent at the office.
Facilities
The lakeside camping area has well-kept toilets and showers, plus cooking spots for preparing your own meals. Electricity and wifi are available, there's a shop in the park, and on weekends a food shop opens as well.
Quiet & crowds
The park is spacious and never packed, so the camping area stays fairly quiet with little noise disturbance. It suits those after a slow lakeside retreat rather than a party-style campground.

Calm relaxing place, clean roads, not crowded, nice lake inside the campus. However the beautiful water fall, main attraction there, was not in full flow as on 3/6/26, as rainy season is yet to come in full fledged way.

The park looks nice. Didn’t get to explore though because the park ranger told us before we buy the ticket that the water fall is dry today 1Jun (although last week god some water). Still nice for glamping by the lake.

A damn has been built above the waterfall so now it’s just an empty stream. Still a nice hike but very short. You can walk into the forest off the trail a little and find the lake/ reservoir.
