Who it suits: This spot suits families more than rowdy groups. The grass field is split into tiers where kids can run around, and the showers have water heaters on both the top and bottom levels, making things easier for older guests. Mookata sets can be ordered and grilled right at your pitch. The elderly owners look after everyone in a warm, personal way.
Facilities: Bathrooms are separated by gender on both the bottom and fourth tiers, with three additional shower rooms kept clean, and hot water available on both levels. The campsite has four grassy tiers with shade trees on each one, plus parking. You can drive up to the top tier to drop off gear before parking below. Camping fee is 200 baht per person.
Quiet & crowds: The site takes no reservations — walk-ins only, first come first served. Weekdays are noticeably quieter than weekends, with fewer people and roomier pitches. Larger groups do show up on some weekends, so for a calmer stay it is best to come on a weekday and arrive early to pick a spot you like.
