Catch the moon - Camping & Café is located in Pong Nam Ron, Chanthaburi province, surrounded by mountain terrain locally known as Fuji Mueang Chan. The site offers fresh air and cool to cold temperatures at night. Visitors can enjoy sunset views from designated viewpoints and observe morning mist rolling over the mountain ranges. The camping area is divided into upper and lower zones, with an on-site café and restaurant serving German-style food. Facilities include electricity, restrooms, shower rooms, and Wi-Fi access. The owner is known for being attentive and welcoming to guests. The environment is quiet and suitable for those seeking relaxation. Advance reservations are required due to limited capacity, and quiet hours are enforced after 10 PM. The access road is quite steep and may pose challenges for sedans, with four-wheel-drive vehicles recommended during wet conditions. The rate is 200 baht per person per night, and equipment rental is not available.

Hidden in the hills, this spot feels like a pause button on life. Wide open skies, mountain silhouettes, and golden flowers set the tone — perfect for anyone who wants to breathe deeper and slow down. I camped here last year, and it became more than just a night outdoors — it was a reset. Cooking with a small stove, watching the sun drop behind the mountains, sharing silence with nature (and even a tiny bird visitor) — all of it felt like therapy. The café adds a touch of comfort, but it’s the view and the atmosphere that make this place unforgettable. A reminder that sometimes the simplest nights — under canvas, with the moon above — are the ones that stay with you.
Lovely place to eat and drink. Cool breeze and good views.
12nd Dec 2023 about 5.20pm THE UPPER RESTAURANT (Managed by Thai lady owner) For the owner 1. Poor management, unprofessional hospitality, unfriendly, no service mind at all. Too high ego personality. The way she talked to us made us felt she thought she is above us. 2. Unwelcoming to customer, we had to approach her to ask for table and order food. For the waitress & kitchen - Make silly mistake cuz no critical thinking and rude! 1. she served 2 basil duck with rice, plus 3 rice plates. I told her that I thought the basil duck will be served without rice. this is what she said "because you order 1 with egg. so, thats made us thought all with rice" (2 hrs for 2 plates) 2. She billed us since she put the plates on the table with the reason "because it is confused thats why wanna bill now even both place owned by same person" 3. She disappeared with changes. Even though it was nothing but this poor service is not deserved even 1THB tip. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------THE BEER YARD 1. Impressive customer service, eyes on details and care of customer needs. All of them came to check the customer all time lovely ^^. 2. Tasty food and nice environment.
I was incredibly disappointed with the service provided by the staff on the upper level of the restaurant. They even asked us for payment before we even had a chance to eat our order ” not professional” , which was a shocking and unwelcome surprise. The long wait for a simple order and the misunderstanding of our request further compounded the negative experience. While the staff on the lower level were helpful and joyful, the negative first impression from the upper level ultimately ruined the entire experience. My two-star rating is solely for the staff on the lower level, who were non-judgmental and welcoming.
One of the best places to view a sunset in Eastern Thailand. Beautiful place to camp if you are in the Chantaburi region. It is probably one of my favorite spots in Thailand; extremely photogenic. Well worth the trip even from Bangkok!
