Khlong Phaibun Waterfall campsite in Chanthaburi sits just 20 metres from a cold, high-volume waterfall inside Khao Khitchakut National Park — making it one of the closest swim-to-camp spots in the province. The camping fee is just 30 THB per person, with electricity available at Zone 2 (near the toilets; bring your own extension cord) at a voluntary contribution. The park has recently widened and deepened the swimming area, so guests can splash around all day long. Toilets are on-site and described as adequate. On quiet visits, campers can have the entire area almost to themselves. The campsite is best suited for those looking to escape the heat, since the waterfall water stays notably cool even when temperatures rise outside.

This waterfall is located in Khao Khitchakut National Park, not far from Chantaburi city. The atmosphere is superb, especially in the morning when it's not so crowded and not too hot. The water is so clear we can see fish swimming back and forth
Khlong Phaibun Waterfall Khlong Phaibun Waterfall It looks like a large waterfall that keeps flowing down with clear water. There are many small basins that are perfect for swimming. Chanthaburi Waterfall is popular with many tourists because it doesn't have to walk far and it is full of rich nature with many kinds of plants. The atmosphere is nice and cool. I traveled to this waterfall on January 31, 2024. Klong Phaiboon Waterfall is near Krating Waterfall only 15 minutes apart and it was in my itinerary that day. It looks like a stream with large rocks. Some people might think that this is not a waterfall, but the National Park says this is a waterfall. This is a good place to take a dip because the water is not flowing strong and there are many pools for you to swim.Besides that, you will be able to enjoy the large swarms of fish which can be seen in the video I attached below. The place is quite quiet, shady, some tourists come to picnic and eat here. The waterfall is so small that most people choose to visit Namtok Phlio or Namtok Krathing. I have taken pictures and recorded video of the beautiful atmosphere of Khlong Phaiboon Waterfall for you to see.
Clear and refreshing water, nice rock formations. Not crowded at all. Deep pools for swimming with fishes. Don't expect waterfall, it's more small rover with steps. But the best for swimming or refreshing we have seen in the region.
