Notes from our team

Who it suits
This campsite suits keen hikers above all — reaching the upper waterfall tiers takes real effort and endurance. Sportswear and gloves are recommended to protect against splinters along the way. The park staff and army rangers stationed here know the trails well and typically accompany hikers through the jungle. Those who prefer not to climb far can simply stay and enjoy the water in the lower areas.
Water & swimming
The stream and waterfall tiers are the heart of this campground. Water keeps flowing through almost all year — even in the dry season there is still enough to swim in. Areas near the water are set up as relaxing spots, with kayaking and swimming both on offer. Some visitors come without staying overnight, simply spending the day by the water, and find it well worth the trip.
Quiet & crowds
The quiet here comes from real conditions: the trail up the waterfall is long and demanding, so very few people make it to the upper tiers — on a multi-hour hike you may not meet a single soul. There is also no phone signal anywhere in the area, so anyone looking to fully disconnect from news and social media gets exactly that, without even trying.

This place is a hidden gem. Hiked for 5 hours and never saw anyone else. You can only got to level 10 11-15 are closed because of elephants. Went in dry season and it still had some water. The staff was very cool and experienced. They are supposed to hike with you but if you ask to go alone they will just wait at the bottom for you.

Clean toilets, showers and kitchen areas. Very well organised and laid out and well worth the visit even if not camping but just spending the time relaxing in or near the water.

We walked up to the 15th tier... Its very rewarding not many people do it. If you go, I recommend to wear sports wear and gloves to protect you from splinters. Great trek! Army guards are nice and they'll follow you in the jungle to make sure you're safe.

An adult park entry fee of 40 THB (20 THB for children) also applies. Nights sit around 26°C, and tree cover keeps the camping area shaded throughout the day. Wildlife is genuinely visible from camp: peacocks, monkeys, and dozens of butterfly species are regularly spotted. The park is open 08:00–17:30; an on-site welfare shop sells food daily from 08:00–20:00. Separate male and female toilet blocks are provided.
