Kung Camp

Saraburi
4.4(5 reviews)

Kung Camp is a campsite in Saraburi province set right beside a waterfall near Muak Lek reservoir, popular for nighttime stargazing. Entry fee is 150 THB per person, children aged 6-12 pay 100 THB, and kids under 5 stay free. Power outlets are provided but campers must bring their own extension cords, and free Wi-Fi covers the site. Grilling is allowed as long as the stove has legs to protect the grass, while high-power electrical devices like induction cookers and portable air conditioners are strictly banned. Pets are welcome, though owners are asked to watch them closely since local animals roam the area. On-site vendors sell drinks, ice, moo kata, and made-to-order meals, and tents, fans, and grills are available for rent. Tent spots cannot be pre-booked online; campers must choose their own spot on arrival. Check-in is at 1:00 PM and check-out at noon, with quiet hours enforced from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Separate male and female restrooms are available, and a 50% deposit via PromptPay is required with no refund on cancellation.

Camping area is spacious, except if you want to camp by the river. They provide cart to carry things from the parking to the camp ground which is really convenient. Owner is very kind! Paid 150 thb only for camp fee. From the nice road around Muaklek dam, drive into a rough road for few minutes to reach this site.

Do not follow the Google Map. Follow the sign. The camping is behind the farm. The campaign is big and have free Wi-Fi. But the wifi-only work near the restaurant. Wifi password is the phone number. Have lots of light and contact for electric. The bathroom is nice and big but in the nighttime the rubbish smell. The cost is $100. For one person and you can bring your dog. You can swim in the river but it's very strong stream. Camping near the the river is very nice but popular. You can borrow free cart to bring your things car is not allowed on the grass. People drink and play music 🎶 if you want quiet 🤫 this is not your place.
