Lan Ban Suea is a campsite in Kamphaeng Phet set right along the stream flowing from Khlong Lan Waterfall inside Khlong Lan National Park. It sits near the registration point for bungalows and camping areas, and the park has three camping zones in total: the popular but crowded Wang Pla Wian zone, the quieter Lan Kaew, and Lan Ban Suea itself, each with its own scenery just a short distance apart. A key highlight is being able to walk to Khlong Lan Waterfall for photos without waiting in line, especially in the early morning when few people are around, and the walk from the campsite is short. Restrooms are kept very clean with staff on duty throughout the night. Tent rental costs 225 THB, with sleeping bags at 30 THB, sleeping pads at 20 THB, and pillows at 10 THB; bringing your own tent costs 30 THB for camping in the park. Notes from our team

Atmosphere: The camping lawn sits near the park headquarters, opposite the tiger house, shaded by mature trees along the edge. The ground is bare soil covered with fallen leaves, not very wide, with some slopes, rocks and tree roots, so it is worth scouting a spot before pitching. There is no electricity at the tents; charging points are at the food center near the registration desk. Check in at the headquarters before setting up.
Water & swimming: A stream running down from the waterfall above flows right past the camping lawn, so swimming is only a few steps away. The water is genuinely cold, and the bed is quite rocky, so pick a smooth spot and watch your footing. Fish are plentiful in the water. At night the sound of the current reaches the tents, and the air near the stream turns cool and damp, so a thick blanket is worth bringing.
Quiet & crowds: On long holiday weekends the main lawn fills up quickly, and campers sometimes end up pitching by the stream beyond the main area, farther from the toilets but far more private, almost like having the water to yourself. Weekdays are noticeably quieter. The dominant sound all night is the flowing stream, not traffic or crowds, as the lawn sits well back from the main road.
