Who it suits

This spot suits self-sufficient campers: there is no food or drinking water sold at the top, so bring everything up with you. Nights get cold with strong wind and heavy dew, so a sturdy tent and warm layers are a must. All trash must be carried back down with you.

Facilities

The toilets double as shower rooms and are kept clean. The park provides water barrels for bathing, and a solar light illuminates the bathroom at night. The park's electricity runs until 8 pm, so bring your own flashlight or headlamp.

Quiet & crowds

The campground sees little traffic — some days barely a single car passes through, and the wind is the main sound you'll hear. With no light pollution at night, the sky goes fully dark and the stars and moon stand out clearly.
