Pha Song Tawan campsite in Lopburi sits on a cliff edge inside the Nong Yai Forest Protection Unit, Sub Langa Wildlife Sanctuary, offering panoramic views across three provinces — Lopburi, Chaiyaphum, and Phetchabun. Morning fog rolling over the mountain ranges is a highlight, especially during the rainy and cool seasons. The access route runs through Thep Sathit district, Chaiyaphum, with roughly 4 km of clay dirt road that becomes muddy after heavy rain; high-clearance or 4WD vehicles are strongly recommended for rainy-season visits, while the dry winter months offer much easier driving. Phone signal is patchy due to the high-altitude terrain. On-site facilities include a dining hall, toilets, and solar-powered electricity for charging devices; self-catering is permitted. Guestrooms are available as an alternative to camping. Entry fees are 30 THB per person, 60 THB per vehicle, and 30 THB for pitching a tent.

It's hard to get too, really bad road. But what really got to me was the ripp off price for foreigners. Thai 30 baht, foreigners 400baht while they give you a 30baht ticket. And yeah it's a nice viewpoint, but nearby a much nicer and easier to get to one (sut phaendin) for half the price
กางเต็นท์ คนเดียว หลังเดียว เหมาลาน รอดูหมอก ที่ #ผาส่งตะวัน (บางคนเรียก #ผาน้ำย้อย) อยู่ใน เขตรักษาพันธุ์สัตว์ป่าซับลังกา #เขตรักษาพันธุ์สัตว์ป่าซับลังกา #หน่วยพิทักษ์ป่าหนองใหญ่ ค่าเข้า.. คน30 มอไซค์30 กางเต็นท์30 มีไฟฟ้าส่องสว่าง ตอนไปไฟห้องน้ำไม่ติด ห้องน้ำอยู่ไกลจากลานกางที่มีไฟส่องสว่าง(อีกลานไม่เห็นไฟ) เราใช้วิธีขับมอไซค์ไปห้องน้ำ ห้องน้ำดี ห้องอาบน้ำดี น้ำไหลกลางๆไม่แรงไม่เบา เราไปวันอาทิตย์ที่ 7 กันยายน 2568 ทางไม่เละมาก เป็นทางดิน ค่อยๆขับมอไซค์มา ตั้งแต่ด่านเก็บเงินเข้ามาเป็นดินดำดินเหนียว เละกว่าข้างนอก เพราะต้นไม้เยอะมีความเป็นป่า เลยแห้งช้า อากาศไม่ร้อน พอเริ่ม4ทุ่ม เย็น แต่ไม่เจอลม ฝนรินบางๆมาๆหยุดๆ นอนฟังเสียงอึ่งกับจั๊กจั่น ตื่นเช้ามาไปห้องน้ำตี5กว่าๆ กลับมาตี5:40(โดยประมาณ) เจอทะเลหมอกลอยแน่นๆช่วงระหว่างผาส่งตะวันไปถึงแนวเขาที่เจอด้านหน้า สายๆมาหน่อย 6โมงขึ้นมาจนถึง10โมง40(เราเก็บของออก) เจอหมอกยาวๆ มีละอองฝนมาเติมความเย็นเป็นระยะๆ ไม่เจอทะเลหมอกเต็มพื้นที่ แต่เป็นไอหมอกฟุ้งๆแน่นเต็มลาน ถ้ากางใต้ต้นไม้น่าจะเย็นมากเย็นทั้งวัน เราเน้นกางใกล้เสาไฟ
Worth the long trip, this place is so beautifully preserved
It's great for camping; it's not too crowded. I hope they can maintain this place and the number of visitors. But the rule to keep the place clean should be implemented strictly; it starts with some of the selfishness people throw the trash on the ground.
สถานที่สวย สะอาด สงบ พื้นที่กางเตฺนท์เยอะ ห้องน้ำพร้อมใช้งาน สะอาด คนไม่เยอะเป็นส่วนตัวดี สัญญานอินเตอร์เน็ตใช้งานไม่ค่อยได้ แต่ก็เป็นข้อดี เราจะได้พักผ่อนเต็มที่เพราะจะไม่มีเสียงเพลงรบกวนเวลานอน อากาศก็ดีเย็นสบาย หน้าหนาวคือฟินมาก อยากให้รักษาสภาพแวดล้อมแบบนี้ไว้นานๆ
