What makes it special: The hilltop viewpoint is the face of this place, looking out over the continuous ridgeline of Wiang Kosai National Park. Late afternoon light across the mountains gives campers a favourite photo angle right from their tents.
Atmosphere: The camp sits on a high knoll in a valley in Phrae, opening out to long views of the Wiang Kosai National Park mountain range. It is a family-friendly place to stay surrounded by actual mountains, not buildings or roads.
Getting there: Getting here is easy: about 4 kilometres from Thoen district town, then cars can drive up the hill straight to the campsite, so there is no hauling gear on foot. Parking is available on site.
Food & supplies: The resort has its own restaurant on site serving both food and drinks, so there is no need to drive down to Thoen town for every meal. Order at the camp and eat with the mountain view.
