Pong Luek Bang Kloi sits within Kaeng Krachan National Park in Phetchaburi province, a village without electricity or mobile phone coverage. The site offers an opportunity to experience nature and observe the traditional lifestyle of the Karen ethnic community. Visitors can enjoy hiking through forest trails, swimming, bamboo rafting, bird watching, and trekking approximately 4 kilometers further to view the sea of mist at Khao Sanyaan. Facilities include parking, restrooms, a restaurant, and designated viewpoints. The site is located 30 kilometers from the park entrance, requiring about 2 hours of travel by four-wheel drive vehicle or park-arranged transportation. All visitors must pay the national park entrance fee at the tourist service center before proceeding to the campsite. The camping fee is 90 baht per person per night, and equipment rental is not available.

Set in a beautiful location with very helpful professional staff. Plenty to see and do and some nice caffees. Fast but very safe boat rides to visit monkey inhabited islands, all at very reasonable price. Excellent . Well worth a visit.
Such a beautiful place must be seen, the boat trip is well worth it.
When we asked what we could expect at this national park for a hefty entree fee of 300 bht, the staff could only mention butterflies. You were only allowed to enter at certain given times with a 4x4 car. We were not allowed to enter the park with our motorcycle. It might be a World Heritage, I skipped a visit.
😍Love this Natural park, cool breeze among hill and dam even in sunlight day time in summer. Very clean and good management of the park officer. Nice place for camping ever especially in winter.👍
Kaenng Krachan dam & National park is around 70klms from the center of Hua Hin. It's a great place for a day trip to explore the area or stay over night at one of the many resorts scattered near and around the dam. Also there is a very well maintained camp ground in the National park on the dam's edge. December / January is a good time to visit the area as the weather is a lot milder. You can take a boat trip around the dam, view some fantastic scenery around the National park and surrounding area especially up at the dam view point and don't forget to have great Thai meal at one the many local restaurants.
