Notes from our team

Atmosphere
The camping grounds sit among trees along a running stream in the Pa Miang forest area, yet the city of Chiang Mai is not far away, making it easy for a weekend trip. Each pitch comes with its own electrical socket, and hot water is available in the bathrooms. It suits a laid-back riverside hangout with friends or family.
Who it suits
This spot suits family trips or groups of friends looking for a clean site with complete facilities, but booking ahead is essential — even on a mid-afternoon arrival with an empty-looking field, the night can be fully booked. Communication here is in Thai, so it is best to secure a reservation before arriving.
Water & swimming
The stream is a central part of the camp, with tent pitches right by the water where you can cool off during the day. The bathrooms offer showers with hot water and are kept noticeably clean. The running water in front of the grounds also keeps the air from getting too hot even on sunny afternoons.
Food & supplies
The camp has its own shop and restaurant on site. Dinner sets of Thai BBQ (mookata) are available at 450 baht per set, along with drinks and a coffee shop in the same area, so there is no need to bring much gear. Tents and camping equipment are available for rent for those who come without their own.

The facilities are top notch here with clean bathrooms and nice camping sites including electrical sockets at each site. So more like glamping. However, make sure you make a reservation. I arrived mid-afternoon, and although there were no tents pitched and no customers around, the staff told me that they were fully booked for the night. Thai language only here.
