Atmosphere: This newly opened campground sits right on the riverbank, its whole ground covered in green lawn with a row of coconut trees shading the edge of the water. A swing by the shore makes a favourite spot to sit in the morning or late afternoon. After dark the site settles into genuine quiet — loud noise is not allowed from 22:00 to 06:30, and the family who runs the place keeps an eye on the grounds, so at night the river's flow is pretty much all you hear.
Water & swimming: The river flowing past the front of the site is where children spend most of their day — the shallow water is easy and fun to play in, and on warm afternoons kids in the river are a common sight here. Those who stay dry can take the swing on the bank and watch. Swimming is also part of what the site offers, so on hot days this stretch of water keeps both kids and adults happy without going anywhere else.
