What makes it special: The most memorable feature is the wide-open sea view from the large room balcony, taking in the beach and the water along the whole stretch. Guests can use the resort's beach chairs out front, and beach towels are provided, which makes time on the sand easy all day.
Atmosphere: The beachfront restaurant on Tawan Beach catches the sea breeze all evening, with a live band playing every night and a different line-up each time. After 9 pm there's a fire performance in several acts, each with its own style — watchable from the beachside tables or the upper deck.
Food & supplies: The restaurant's signature is grilled shrimp with its own chilli dipping sauce, alongside chicken tom kha, omelette, and a Thai-style rice congee loaded with seafood for breakfast. Prices run high but portions justify the cost, and dishes come out fast even when the place is busy.
