Mon Doi Sam Mok

Mon Doi Sam Mok is a campsite in Mae Hong Son known for sunrise views over a sea of mist, surrounded by green mountains near other famous viewpoints like Klo Se Lo and Mon Phop Fah. Located in Sop Moei district, the pitch officially opens on October 1st. The camping fee is 120 THB per person, while vehicles bringing their own tent pay 100 THB per vehicle to pitch in the designated car-camping lawn. Food is available on site, including a set of grilled pork buffet (moo kratha) for 500 THB per set. For visitors without their own transport, chartered round-trip rides are available from Sop Moei district office, Mae Sam Laep sub-district office, or Mae Sariang district, with prices varying by distance. The site has toilets and shower rooms. Visitors are advised to call ahead to book or inquire so the staff can prepare lighting and clean the facilities in advance. This is considered one of the best sunrise viewpoints in Sop Moei district.
