Laan Mok Klaang Doi Camping is situated between Bunyoe and Kaloso villages in Mae Hong Son Province, along the Myanmar border. The site offers views of the confluence where the Salween and Moei rivers meet, as well as the sea of mist over Kaloso. The camping area is divided into three zones. Zone A features level ground without rocks, making it suitable for elderly visitors and children. Zones B and C are positioned along the cliff side with river views. Facilities include restrooms, showers, running water, a restaurant, viewpoints for the sea of mist, stargazing and sunrise viewing areas, Wi-Fi, and parking. The site operates on a walk-in basis only with no advance reservations accepted. Visitors should aim to arrive before 5 PM. Saw this place and the road conditions on a Thai Youtube channel so i knew from the start what i was getting into. We came by motorcycles from Mae Sariang via route 3004 from MAE KHA TUAN BRIDGE. As we planned to use the 18km route the next day towards the old Tha Ta Fang police station, i dont want to travel the same road twice. took us 2.5 hours to arrive. The way down (via 18km route) is a whole different story. The road was part of the fun. There were so many campsites. We explored a few before settling with Ban Mok Klang Doi campsite. It did not disappoint. The host was great, we were able to converse in English. A restaurant that cooked us Kao Pad. He made a campfire even kept us entertained with his guitar under a night full of stars. We had a great time.

หมอกฉ่ำมากกกกก ละมุนสุด ๆ แต่อากาศก็ไม่ได้หนาวมาก เหมือนจะพอๆกับแม่สะเรียง ห้องน้ำสะอาด ไม่มีเครื่องทำน้ำอุ่น มีอาหารและเครื่องดื่มขาย หมูกระทะ(3ชั้นล้วน) ชุดละ 500 บาท 2 คนกินไม่หมด ไม่มีสัญญาณโทรศัพท์ แต่มีรหัส wifi ขาย 40บาท/เครื่อง สัญญาณแรง ดู ตต. ไม่มีสะดุด “กลางคืนดูดาว ตอนเช้าดูทะเลหมอก” สำหรับสายลุยใช้เส้น 18 กิโล มันส์แน่นอน แต่ก็ไม่ได้ยากมาก Grand filano บรรทุกของเต็มก็ขึ้นได้ อยู่ที่ใจครับ
