Mon Kala Ko Jo is a camping ground located in Mae Sam Laep Sub-district, Sop Moei District, Mae Hong Son Province. This site offers spectacular sea of mist views that can be seen in full panorama. The mist rises from early dawn and persists almost throughout the day, covering the entire area extending to the Myanmar border, earning it the name "Sea of Mist of Two Lands." During nighttime, visitors can enjoy clear stargazing in the cool mountain air. The journey follows the same route as to Kalo Selo but has a clearly marked junction. The road is quite challenging and accessible only by 4WD vehicles, so it's recommended to arrange transportation with local villagers. The camping fee is 120 baht per person. Various tent rental options are available, and chartered vehicle services to the mountain are also offered. This destination provides an excellent opportunity to experience both the mystical sea of mist at dawn and brilliant starlit skies at night in a refreshingly cool climate.
