Hilltop camping site with beautiful weather and stunning 360-degree views. Stars fill the sky at night with nothing to obstruct the view. The route is steep, about 6 kilometers past Sapan village. Recommend 4WD vehicles or motorbikes. Fog appears during rainy days. No electricity available - bring power banks. No food sold on-site - prepare your own meals. Site owner is the village headman. Can stop at 'Hyud Wela' cafe on the way for great views.
Pha Chu Camping Ground
Pha Chu Camping Ground in Sri Nan National Park offers beautiful views from tent sites with chances to see sea of mist in the morning. The camping area is wide and open, hot during the day but cool and comfortable at night. Facilities include restaurant, welfare shop, and small cafe. Restrooms are nearby and reasonably clean but no hot water heater. Electrical outlets available for charging devices near the restaurant pavilion. Road access is not too difficult for those with mountain driving skills, good road conditions. Disadvantages: Many mosquitoes and small black ants that nest in spots on the ground and bite painfully.
