
Namtok Ngao National Park
Namtok Ngao National Park has announced a temporary closure of all tourist attractions, including Namtok Ngao Waterfall and Phu Ran Hot Springs in Ranong, as well as Khlong Phrao Waterfall in Chumphon, from February 1 to March 31, 2026, according to the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation announcement dated December 18, 2025. The closure is intended to protect and restore natural resources, improve visitor safety, and enhance the quality, cleanliness, and convenience of the attractions. The park will continue normal administrative operations, and official contacts can still be made as usual.

Large grass field, car parking near tents, clean restrooms with hot-cold water. Uses 80% solar power with portable air conditioning and swimming pool with filtration system. Serves pork hot pot and rice porridge, free first ice bucket. Maximum 20 tents, pets allowed, car camping available. Children under 15 and seniors over 60 with family free. Easy access from multiple routes.

Lan Lay Camping
Camping ground beside Songkhla Lake with great atmosphere. Has trees providing shade almost all day. Best to visit during calm waves and wind. The camping area is not very large but can accommodate several large tents. Can park cars nearby so no worries about sleeping in vehicles. Has large dome tents under open shelters for rent. Has electrical hookups. Simple but reasonably clean restrooms with dishwashing area. Fresh atmosphere with comfortable breeze for cooling down. Quiet lakeside location. Has small food, drinks and convenience items available.

Natural campsite surrounded by mountain views with good air quality. Features natural stream with clear, clean, cool water that's shallow enough for children to play. Spacious area with various atmospheres to choose from, suitable for car camping.
