Nernkhao Camp offers tent pitches with a view of Siriphum Waterfall, a campsite in Chiang Mai just 25 minutes from the summit of Doi Inthanon. The air here is cool, around 18 degrees Celsius, and the soft grass pitch is accessible by car. Camping fees run 150 baht per person per night from February to August, rising to 200 baht per person per night from September to January. Facilities include clean toilets with gas water heaters, free lighting and power outlets for string lights, a dishwashing area, and phone signal on site. Cooking and grilling are allowed, but guests must not dump charcoal or ash on the grass. Besides tent pitches, cabins are available: rooms for 2 guests cost 1,400-1,800 baht per night, and rooms for 3-4 guests cost 1,800-2,000 baht per night. Guests can book ahead or walk in, with a 50% deposit required for reservations. Check-in is at 13:30 and check-out at 11:30. Room and pitch rates do not include meals.
