Notes from our team

Atmosphere
The campsite sits among Thai cherry blossoms in full bloom, turning the whole ground pink during flower season. Wherever you look, pink sakura branches frame the site, with open views over the hills and forest of Khun Wang. The atmosphere here is defined by the colour and light of the blossoms flowering all at once.
Best time to go
Late December is when Pha Sakura Khun Wang is at its best, with temperatures dropping to around 9°C and the cold mountain air settling in. This is when the Thai sakura bloom peaks, washing the entire campsite in pink, an ideal time to stay overnight and photograph the blossoms and mountain views in the cool end-of-year air.
