Who it suits

Best suited to families picnicking or campers parking overnight on the sandy riverbank. Add-ons include guided hikes, bamboo rafting and elephant activities at a nearby camp, with elephants crossing the stream in the morning. Tent campers should check availability first — at one point only the bungalows were open.

Facilities

There are 3 toilet blocks, a mix of squat and sitting toilets, and the showers are cold-water scoop baths with no hot water. Meals can be ordered from the camp itself, so no need to bring cooking gear — just be ready for a cold wash in cool weather.

Value for money

Rates start at 149 baht, with riverside car camping at 150 baht per person and riverside bungalows at up to 999 baht. Electricity, water, toilets and showers are included at every level — solid value if sleeping beside the stream is the main draw.
