𓆉 🙏This place is truly unique. I've been coming to Thailand for 15 years, and the way this place has been designed gives me reason to rate it highly. There's a lot of thought and understanding of what tourists can expect ;) The tents are set up so that there's a sense of privacy; no one peeks into the tent, each tent faces the sun, which creates a feeling of warmth, and the tent also allows for a chance to warm up in the afternoon. The tents are clean, the bedding is changed, and there's a duvet for warmth; you don't need to bring anything else. The showers work perfectly; the heater is gas-powered, and there's always hot water regardless of the water pressure. I'm also happy with the campsite. 𓆉🤭There used to be a dish served to tent for breakfast, but the Swedish table is better; anyone can get what they want and enjoy it. This year, there was a noisy group in one tent, and it didn't stop me from enjoying the place as much as I'd hoped. 🚫➡️😵‍😶‍🌫️At the same time, I want to warn against a very similar place in this area, also tents but which, in my opinion, is a scam. If you're wondering, don't even book a place anywhere else 𓆉 choose ป่า โป่ง ดอย. Cheers🤭

The second place we stayed for this dark sky phenomenon hunting trip was Pa Pong Doi, one of places that got certified to be a dark sky reserved area by NARIT. We were lucky that when I contacted the resort, they had only "Huan Pi" available for us so I booked it immediately. Breakfast was included in a room price but they have Moo Krata and a set of Northern food to offer as dinner which they will send a message to ask you before you arrive. We chose a set of Northern food because we just had Moo Krata as dinner yesterday. And when the time came, we successfully took pictures of Comet Swan, Milky Way, and Meteor Showers while Otoro was chilling at the balcony with us... so yeah, Pa Pong Doi is also a pet allowed resort. The breakfast there is a buffet of Northern food which has most dishes quite similar to dinner but because they are all delicious I didn't problem with them 😂 In short, we are very impressed with the place and we plan to go back there again for night sky phenomenon event soon.

We stayed at 'Pa Pong Doi' (ป่า โป่ง ดอย) for a night. The tent was in good condition, clean bed and warm blanket! The view in front overlook Doi Lhung Chiang Dao was a real treat It can be very cold at night and early in the morning, fog all over, I woke up and my friend was gone, opened the tent and see only the white scenery. what a day 😂 We ordered BBQ or 'Mu Kata' for supper, the homestay arranged everything in front of the tent for us, Literally dinner with a view.. Breakfast served with Thai Northern food in a tiffin that was so yum too!
