Pang Man Mok Cafe & Campsite

Phetchabun
4.6(5 reviews)

Pang Man Mok is a campsite in Phetchabun set right on Sanlang Mangkorn Road between Phu Thap Boek and Na Sa Ung, known for its all-day sea-of-mist views. The spot doubles as a café and campground, with cool fresh air and good-quality, reasonably priced coffee. Camping on the dirt ground costs 150 baht per person, while sleeping on a raised bamboo platform costs 200 baht per person. Restrooms are clean, though there is no electricity available at the campsite. Food is offered at the café but in limited quantity, so campers are advised to bring their own supplies. The access road is narrow but not as steep as routes found in northern Thailand; however, fog can become thick enough at times to obscure visibility on the road. This is a good choice for anyone wanting a scenic natural campsite with sea-of-mist views. Contact numbers are provided for booking or inquiries, and staff are known to be friendly and helpful.

An Unforgettable Act of Kindness I want to share something truly touching that happened at this lovely little coffee shop on Phu Thap Buek. After a long motorbike climb, my friend and I stopped here to rest, enjoy the amazing view, and have a few sodas. Later that day, I realized I had lost my wallet — with my passport, driver’s license, and nearly 20,000 baht inside. My heart sank. But then came a miracle. The wonderful lady who owns the coffee shop had already posted online trying to find me! When I went back the next morning, she handed me my wallet — every single thing still inside — and gently refused any reward. Her honesty, grace, and dignity moved me. It’s people like her who make Thailand such a special place. Khop Khun Krab 🙏 We will definitely be back!
