Who it suits: The per-person rate suits tent campers chasing a full cliff view, not those who need guaranteed quiet. Noise control on the ground is loose even though a sign bans loud noise after 10 pm, so light sleepers should factor that in.
Value for money: Camping is 120 baht per person, including a shared power point for charging, newly built toilets with a sitting toilet and 2 water heaters, plus a nearly 270-degree panorama right in front of the ground. For a view like this on Phu Thap Boek, that's solid value.
