Tao Dam Waterfall is located within Khlong Wang Chao National Park in Kamphaeng Phet Province. The site is known for its distinctive black turtle-shaped rock formations. The waterfall is most impressive during the late rainy season through early winter when water levels are at their highest. The camping ground has limited space and can accommodate hammocks when visitor numbers are low, though tree coverage is sparse. Clean and comfortable restroom facilities are available on site, along with a shop and restaurant. The waterfall itself lies 300 meters below the camping area via a steep but well-maintained concrete stairway. Access from the visitor center covers approximately 33 kilometers, beginning with seven kilometers of paved road followed by 26 kilometers of dirt and concrete track. The route includes two to three sharp hairpin bends that become slippery and muddy during wet weather. Fresh supplies can be purchased at Pa Ka village before reaching the waterfall. The campsite charges 90 baht per person per night and does not offer equipment rental.

The view is impressive, and the atmosphere is pleasant. The people are very nice, making it worthwhile to visit and have the experience.
Beautiful place… don’t expect much… there is nothing up there and you must bring everything by yourself including food and water, it will be scary because you are the only one up there deep in the jungle, but for nature loving brave souls, it is heaven. And the road… simply too much fun but not too difficult. Just keep your balance and you’ll be fine. Go during rainy season for a real off road fun.
Be prepare with your driving skills and it’s up hill with a single road 😛 at some point you don’t want to go further. Prepare yourself before going here. If you are adventure guys this is place for you.
Not an easy road to get there but worth the effort. From park entrance 26 km over 2 track cemented road. I managed with an xmax
