Doi Khun Tan National Park is Thailand's 10th national park, located in the Khun Tan mountain range along the border between Lampang and Lamphun provinces. The park sits at an elevation of 325-1,373 meters above sea level. What makes this park unique is its accessibility by train, with the park located just 1.3 kilometers from Khun Tan railway station. Small trails connect the station to the park entrance. Visitors from Bangkok can take train numbers 09 or 13, arriving at Khun Tan station in the morning. Park entrance costs 20 baht per person, with camping fees at 30 baht per night. The main camping areas include the stargazing area and Y.2 area. The stargazing area offers tent and sleeping equipment rental, separate male and female restrooms, accommodation houses, a welfare shop, and made-to-order food services. The Y.2 camping area provides restrooms and water taps but lacks electricity and shops, though some phone signal is available. For accommodation houses and Y.3 camping area, reservations must be made through the Christian Council.
