I mean sure it’s a beautiful lookout. But 300 baht for a viewpoint seems a little much.
It's a national park worth visiting. The beautiful sunset and sea of clouds make me linger!
The scenery is worth the trip. Bundle up it gets chilly up there! Be sure to get some of the best coffee around while you’re up at the camp ground. Your park fee will also get you into the hot springs in Pai but has to be used the same day.
First stop in Mae Hong Son province if you're on the loop tour via Pai! There's a viewpoint about 4km north from the ticket booth (with winding roads too!) The officer told us it's foggy due to the rain but I absolutely loved the foggy view. There were also friendly dogs running around and welcoming us! It's the low season now due to the rain and people would usually come at the end of the year aka the cold season, as the terrace would be decorated with rows of colourful flowers. The same ticket for this national park could be used to visit Tha Pai Hot Spring in Pai, if you're using it within the same day.
Easy to arrive. Off 1095 to Pai. Unfortunately, Dang Park was misty, when I arrived. Positive, no doubt, vistas would be sensual, with clear skies
