San Pa Kia Doi Mae Taman Highland Agricultural Research Station is located in Chiang Mai province and offers camping areas with panoramic views of Doi Luang Chiang Dao peak. During winter months, visitors can observe Wild Himalayan Cherry blossoms in bloom. The site provides both accommodation buildings and designated camping zones with accessible toilet and shower facilities. The station operates on solar power, which functions until midnight, so visitors should bring flashlights for later hours. On-site facilities include a welfare shop and a made-to-order food restaurant, along with viewpoints for observing the sea of mist and stargazing. Barbecue facilities are also available. Access requires attention to vehicle type. Regular sedans and unloaded pickup trucks can reach the junction, but the left turn to the research station requires high-clearance pickups, SUVs, or motorcycles. During the dry winter season, the roads are more manageable, while the rainy season is best navigated with four-wheel drive vehicles or by hiring local transport. The camping fee is 100 baht per person, and equipment rental is available.
