Lan Yu Thuan Ban Pa Lo is located in a quiet Lahu hill tribe village surrounded by natural forest in Chiang Mai province. The site offers sweeping views of Doi Luang Chiang Dao mountain and the city below from its elevated viewpoint. Visitors can choose between camping areas and guesthouse accommodation. Facilities include a restaurant, barbecue areas, and campfire pits, with opportunities for stargazing and watching the sea of mist. The setting appeals to campers seeking tranquility and a more rustic camping experience. Access requires driving approximately 15 kilometers from the main road through Ban Mae Mae village, then another 8 kilometers on challenging terrain suitable only for four-wheel drive vehicles with experienced drivers. Those uncertain about the route can park at Ban Mae Mae temple and arrange paid transport service with the campsite. The rate is 200 baht per person per night, and equipment rental is not available.

วิวสวยมากๆ ตอนที่ไปแวะไม่เจอเจ้าของ คาดว่าน่าจะต้องจองไว้ก่อน พื้นที่เหมาะสำหรับกางเต็นท์มากๆ ส่วนมากจะเป็นพื้นที่โล่ง และมีเป็นที่พักโฮมสเตย์ 3-4 หลัง เห็นวิวดอยหลวงเชียงดาว เต็มตา สวยงาม
This is a Lahu village located around 1000m high. It is facing right down Chiang Dao mountain range. The view is stunning. The village is quite remote and not too developed. It is difficult to reach by car. As a trekking agency we of course prefer to go hiking there. There are many hidden trails around and from the village it is possible to reach the beautiful Pha Sam Liam summit and Doi Pakhia summit. For safety reasons we recommend to check the route and the conditions before going there.

Really nice village with the most friendly people I've seen in a while. Great views up until the village. Didn't get 5 stars as the road to get there is quite a rough one not being paved and most of all being in the middle of the jungle. Be prepared for a rough road, lack of service and a bumpy ride.
