Kaeng Luang Lam Nam Wa is located within Mae Chrim National Park in Nan Province. This riverside camping area appeals to those interested in water-based activities along the Wa River. The site overlooks the river and its rapids, providing a natural setting for outdoor recreation. White water rafting is available with difficulty levels ranging from 1-3 during normal water conditions, increasing to level 5 during the rainy season. Two rafting routes are offered: a shorter 7.3 kilometer course taking approximately 1.5-2 hours, and a longer 14.5 kilometer route requiring about 3 hours. The park provides guide staff and rubber boat services for rafting activities. Visitors can also swim and relax by the rapids. Facilities include bathrooms, showers, parking, a shop, and a restaurant. The site charges 30-300 baht per person per night and equipment rental is available.
