Pha Luang Waterfall Forest Park is located in the Dong Phu Loen National Forest Reserve in Na Loen Subdistrict, Si Mueang Mai District, Ubon Ratchathani Province. The park covers approximately 11,375 rai and serves as a nature study trail with rich biodiversity. Visitors can walk along marked nature trails on rocky plateaus with signage throughout the route. The park is renowned as a beautiful sunset viewing destination where camping is permitted at the waterfall site. Morning sea of mist can be observed from the Pha Luang Stone Pot viewpoint. Key attractions include Bok Nok Yuang, Bok Nok Yuang Waterfall, Long Pong Waterfall, Lod Cave, Bok Nok Yuang Pavilion Pillar, Crocodile Court, grasslands, wildflower fields, Wat Pa Pha Phueng Phu Luang temple, and the Stone Pot viewpoint. Access requires parking at the forest park office and hiking up the mountain approximately 400 meters. There are no restroom facilities or electricity at the viewpoint area. Tent rental is available on-site. The recommended arrival time is 3 PM to allow for tent setup and sunset viewing, as the evening light is particularly beautiful at this location.

It’s about 500 m to the waterfall, you can really enjoy the nature walk. At the top of the waterfall, there are wildflowers fields, blooming at the beginning of the winter season. The scenery is just gorgeous! Just sit in the shade of a tree, listen to the sound of nature and relax ☺️
We hiked the waterfall and flower way. 3 hours later we've been back and completely wet and damaged. But it was so beautiful. Good, that we bought hiking shoes in Ubon. The first small shop after the parking area sells very good soup and Krapao. 🤘 🇹🇭❤️💙❤️🇹🇭
Beautiful views across the valleys. The waterfall is relatively easy to access with footpaths leading to it. The walk up to Mor Hin Pha Luang rock is longer and a little more challenging but not difficult for the average person. Most of my party were retirees and everyone made it comfortably. Follow the white cloth markers towards the "Dark Sky" campsite. More great views across the valley on the way. Well worth the walk for the unusual Mor Hin rock formation and the spectacular photos you can get there.

Great water fall, great view on top, lovely staff. The one who loves trekking and climbing must come. There're lots of viewpoint on top of the hill, windy, cold, fresh, and free entrance for Thai.

The location supports year-round camping and provides opportunities for stargazing at night, boat excursions to view the Thai-Lao riverside landscapes, sunrise observation in the morning, and trips to river islands with sunset viewing. The site features electricity at multiple points, though high-power equipment is not permitted.
