Pha Luang Waterfall Forest Park

Pha Luang Waterfall Forest Park is located in the Dong Phu Loen National Forest Reserve in Na Loen Subdistrict, Si Mueang Mai District, Ubon Ratchathani Province. The park covers approximately 11,375 rai and serves as a nature study trail with rich biodiversity. Visitors can walk along marked nature trails on rocky plateaus with signage throughout the route. The park is renowned as a beautiful sunset viewing destination where camping is permitted at the waterfall site. Morning sea of mist can be observed from the Pha Luang Stone Pot viewpoint. Key attractions include Bok Nok Yuang, Bok Nok Yuang Waterfall, Long Pong Waterfall, Lod Cave, Bok Nok Yuang Pavilion Pillar, Crocodile Court, grasslands, wildflower fields, Wat Pa Pha Phueng Phu Luang temple, and the Stone Pot viewpoint. Access requires parking at the forest park office and hiking up the mountain approximately 400 meters. There are no restroom facilities or electricity at the viewpoint area. Tent rental is available on-site. The recommended arrival time is 3 PM to allow for tent setup and sunset viewing, as the evening light is particularly beautiful at this location.
